With a Civil Engineering Degree Bachelor, Higher Diploma from Leadership and Management Institute from Cambridge University, Okbah Abdulkarim has a very impressive list of projects as the Director in his more than 25 years of career, he has managed hotels, commercial, mix use developments, hospitals, schools, and residential projects in UAE, UK, Croatia, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon and India.
Abdulkarim has been responsible for the completion of the most sought after projects in Dubai like the Dubai Marina Mall, Intercontinental Dubai Marina, The Torch, Bay Central, The Address Hotel Dubai Marina, Emirates Towers Dubai Marina Plaza Office Tower, Dubai Gold and Diamond Park, Emaar Hospitality Staff accommodation, Le Meridian Hotel.
He has also completed the construction of five high rise Residential Towers, Hatta Sports Club and construction of a residential of 88 Villas, two schools and three Clinics and the Dubai Sports City giving a total of more than 3.8 billion AED. “Prior to joining Select Group, in my previous role as a Senior Projects Manager with Emaar Properties PJSC, the total value of projects under my supervision was in excess of AED 3.8 billion”.
